As the new UK series of Big Brother looms all the affiliated hype and nonsense increases online. This hype seems more intense this year with the increasing popularity of social networking websites such as Facebook. Although this just could be because I have not sought such enthusiasm on the web with previous Big Brother series.
You may ask, “why I did this year?”. Good question, but here is the reason:
A couple of nights ago I was thinking about the power of social networking and how to explore this. Then it hit me — use social networking to influence the outcome of a reality television show which relies on viewers’ votes.
