Flickr’s 3 Billionth Photograph

This is an incredible milestone for the Flickr community.

While this photo may not be everyones’ cup of tea I do think could be thought as symbolic and rather apt.

I do wonder what Flickr staff would have decided to do if the 3 billionth photo was deemed too risqué. Perhaps it was and this is actually the three billion and first upload to the photo sharing website.

Either way, congratulations to the Flickr founders and the people who take so many wonderful images.

With reference to the latest Mac Brick rumour here’s a picture of the water jet cutting in action. Although the picture shows rubber being cut this method can be used to cut steel up to 10cm (3.9 inches).

You could say that this is indeed ‘cutting edge technology’.
