WordPress 2.5 PC1 Available
First ‘Release Candidate’ of WordPress 2.5 is available for a ‘sneak peek‘. From what I have seen and read so far WordPress 2.5 does look different but not so different that current users of WordPress will be totally lost. It has had a favourable makeover and does offer a number of additional features.
Matt from WordPress explains:
A customizable dashboard, multi-file upload, built-in galleries, one-click plugin upgrades, tag management, built-in Gravatars, full text feeds, and faster load times sound interesting? Then WordPress 2.5 might be the release for you. It’s been in the oven for a while, and we’re finally ready to open the doors a bit to give you a taste.
I will be installing 2.5RC1 for use with Blog24 over the next few days so please accept my apologies now if something breaks on the site, but please do let me know about any problems that arise.
