Design Your Own Shoes and Bags Online
These days the web offers consumers pretty much anything you can find in regular shops. However, the web is allowing customers to customize products. It has been happening for years, perhaps you have ordered a Dell or Apple computer which you have specified the components.
Recently the sportswear manufacturer Puma launched their MONGOLIAN SHOE BBQ which has the choice of two styles of training shoe and lets you really go to town on making them look individual by using a fantastic array of colour and material choices. This is a far cry from selecting how much RAM and which Graphics Card you want in your new Mac or PC. It ought to be noted that the way it is presented is really pushing forward the boundaries of consumer interaction and this is likely to be a trend that will actually become commonplace with big brands.
Customization is the future of online clothes shopping. What could be better than designing your own shoes or bag? Making it personal and possibly unique.Another big name that allows customization is bag maker Timbuk2.
There are other companies that specialise in custom design bags including Tagger and Freddy & Ma.

There was a website a few years ago (2001?) that produced courier style bags from the vinyl used to cover the sides of articulated lorries. You could choose which piece of vinyl was used and select precisely where each component of your bag was cut from. This meant that each bag was truly unique. The graphics or type on the vinyl could be used in your bag design.
Alas, I can not find that website - I think it was German or perhaps Dutch - if you know the one I mean please let me know by adding a comment below.
This website still exists — www.freitag.ch.
Do you know of other quality custom clothing and accessory stores online share the URL via the comments.
